Commitment beyond technology
At F&S solar service, we see our contribution to the energy transition not only on paper or on the roof - but also in society. That is why we are committed to public relations work with heart, energy and real team spirit.
What that means for us:
→ Sports sponsorship & partnerships:
We are an official partner of the West German Volleyball Association (WVV) - because we live values such as fairness, performance and teamwork not only in sport, but also in our day-to-day work. With our commitment, we support regional and national beach volleyball teams, as well as other regional clubs.
→ Showing responsibility - also externally:
Whether at events, trade fairs or in the media: we show our face. We speak openly about our work, our goals and our responsibility towards the environment and society.
→ Promoting young talent & education:
The energy transition needs brains - so we specifically promote young talent: through collaborations with schools, trainee opportunities and exciting insights into the world of renewable energies.
→ Strengthening local ties:
As a company from the region, proximity to people, associations and initiatives is important to us. We want to help shape, support and be visible where we work and live.

Our goal:
We want to show that technical progress and social commitment belong together. Because real change always starts with connection - between people, ideas and perspectives.
Ukrainian pupils visit the solar park
In September, we had the pleasure of welcoming students from Ternopil (Ukraine) as part of a student exchange with the Gottfried-Kinkel-Realschule Erftstadt.
The day began in our company building, where we gave the young people a presentation about our work and the importance of photovoltaics for the energy transition. Afterwards, we went together to our solar park near Euskirchen. There, the students were able to see first-hand how a PV system works and ask lots of questions.
Finally, we donated a small PV system to the young people's school in Ternopil so that they can also learn about renewable energies in class.
It was an enriching exchange for everyone involved, which not only passed on knowledge, but also created a sense of togetherness across national borders
