Cooperation between Rurenergie and F&S Solarservice

General

Accelerating the energy transition together

The cooperation is intended to enable a division of labor and thus faster implementation of ground-mounted photovoltaic projects

Kreis Düren/Kreis Euskirchen - Everyone is talking about the energy turnaround, but in order for it to be implemented quickly, structures must be created that enable the faster expansion of renewable energies. For this reason, Rurenergie from the district of Düren has now entered into a cooperation agreement with F&S solar service from Euskirchen. "Through our cooperation, we want to enable a division of labor and thus faster implementation of ground-mounted photovoltaic projects," reports Thomas Zerres, Managing Director of Rurenergie. The first step is to obtain planning and approval for construction. The PV project will then be technically planned, constructed and operated. "The cooperation will initially run for five years," says Zerres.

F&S solar service and Rurenergie are cooperating as contractual partners and pooling their expertise with the common goal of planning and building new photovoltaic power plants

confirms Uwe Czypiorski, Managing Director of F&S Solar Service. The total volume of solar power generated when the contract was signed was in the order of 28.9 megawatts. As a target corridor, we have jointly envisaged the realization of solar parks with a total capacity of up to 250 megawatts," continued Czypiorski. Accelerating the energy transition togetherIn addition to securing the project areas and cable routes under civil law, Rurenergie is to take over the entire development under land-use planning law until the approval process is completed by granting planning permission for the projects. "This includes applying for and securing all building regulations for the construction of the PV systems and, in particular, submitting the building application and obtaining a building permit in the name of the respective project management company," explains Thomas Zerres.

Our task at F&S, on the other hand - in addition to exploring suitable project areas and advising and supporting Rurenergie - is to carry out a basic technical assessment at our own expense and under our own responsibility,

explains Jens Brücken, Technical Managing Director of F&S Solar Service. Among other things, this includes an individual site inspection, the preparation of a yield report, an occupancy plan and coordination with the energy suppliers in the medium and high voltage range. "And, of course, extensive analyses and calculations on economic efficiency are carried out on the basis of the previously developed engineering. This also includes the selection of state-of-the-art, available innovative components and wiring concepts," Brücken concludes.

IN THE BOX

F&S solar service GmbH (F&S) is a globally operating company in the field of renewable energies. Its main field of activity is the planning, complete project management and operational installation of PV systems on roofs and open spaces for the purpose of generating electricity from solar radiation energy and feeding this electricity into the public grid.

RURENERGIE GmbH is a modern energy company operating mainly in the district of Düren and the city region of Aachen, whose aim is to actively develop and improve climate and environmental protection. The company's business focus lies in the field of renewable energies, in which the company actively protects the climate for the citizens of the district of Düren and the city region of Aachen by producing regional electricity generated 100 percent from local wind and solar power as part of the energy transition. To further promote the expansion of renewable energies, RURENERGIE GmbH intends to implement further renewable energy projects, including the construction and subsequent operation of additional ground-mounted photovoltaic systems.
